These days, I liked the lens, but didn't love the lens In the old days, I loved the 35 IS on my crop cameras because I didn't embrace normal zoom. If I don't need fast AF it will probably work on the A7IV as well.īut I'm not using it. Shooting non moving subjects in low light needing DOF it's better than the 32mm. I'm more of a zoom person at 35 mm and my F4L zoom serves the 35 mm focal length - with dxo deep prime NR On FF, I did like the EF 35 F2, but I decided to sell it recently to help fund the R8. When I got the m32 f1.4 on m6II, I didn't use the 35 f2 IS on crop after that because the m32 is so good. But, it needed a bit of stopping down, at least to f2.2 One of the reasons I like the 100L so much is how well it works on every Canon camera I have mounted it on. Lenses that will work great on both interest me. Tap, tap, tap on the screen and it switches from eye to eye I keep running into crazy good deals on cameras with mirrors and EF glass. And I ain't adapting any lenses in my EF arsenal on the R or M cameras.
